Hi Beauty,
How was V-Day / Love Day for you? I hope you acknowledged and celebrated love — for yourself and others — in some way.
Last week on #WellBeingWednesday (watch the behind-the-scenes recording here), I reframed self-love as something far more practical — honouring yourself.
Not superficial indulgences or performative positivity, but choosing — consciously — to show up differently in just one area of your life.
That’s why I invited you to join me in #SelfLoveSunday (yes, I accidentally said #SelfCareSunday on air — we move 😄).
The idea is simple:
Pick one area — Body, Mind, BEing, Business, Relationship.
Do just one thing that honours you in that area.
Repeat for three Sundays.
Wishing doesn’t create change.
Hoping something will change doesn’t create change.
Waiting doesn’t create change. But intention + action does.
And accountability dramatically increases the likelihood of follow-through — by up to *95%!
That’s why I encourage you to share it — with one person or publicly. This isn’t about applause or ego; it’s about actually doing the thing. Finally changing what you say you want to change.
Sometimes we just need to see someone else choosing themselves to feel permitted to do the same. And your share might inspire someone else. Win-win-win.
So my #SelfLoveSunday #SelfCareSunday a few days ago was a 90-minute “road trip” (which for me is basically cross-continental 😂) to Nan Hua Temple with friends.
It required intention.
It required stepping away from my laptop.
It required consciously choosing experience over productivity.
Was it worth it? Absolutely. My body, mind, and BEing (heart, joy, fulfilment) were nourished in ways another “busy Sunday” never could.
And here’s the interesting part — honouring ourselves translates directly into teams. If you’re part of a team that feels disjointed, negative, or misaligned, let’s chat.
“Our most valuable session so far.”
That’s the feedback I received after yesterday’s team-engagement session titled, ‘From Instinct to Impact’. And I’m facilitating another one on Thursday titled ‘The Power of One’.
Positive change starts with self-awareness — personally and professionally, as individuals and as teams.
When we truly understand ourselves — our patterns, blind spots, strengths, and defaults beyond “this is just how I am” — we can start creating lives and businesses that fulfil us.
It changes how we show up – at home, in our partnerships, in leadership and in our business.
So here’s my question for you:
Did you join #SelfLoveSunday? If not, I’d love to invite you in. What is just one thing you can intentionally choose this coming Sunday?
I’d love to know what you choose <3
With much love,
Your biggest cheerleader and guide,
Petra
