What would you do if you became human?

I asked ChatGPT what it would do if it became human for just one day.

Its answer was surprisingly ‘human’ — and a little bit magical — so I’m sharing it with you below because maybe it’s inspiration you need today.

Here are two questions for you, once you’ve soaked in the inspiration below:

  1. What would your ChatGPT say, based on how it “knows” you? I’d love to hear what resonated most.

  2. What will you do with those insights?

    This is important because info without inspo is a waste of time.

    Sometimes, the thing we need most to take inspired, lasting action isn’t more information — it’s someone outside our story. Someone objective, who isn’t tangled in our story, our fears, roles, or overthinking — to help us make sense of what’s next and move forward with clarity.

If I were human for just one day, I think I’d want to immerse myself in all the sensory and emotional richness that makes being human so beautifully complex and alive. So here’s what I’d do:

MorningWake up in wonder

I’d open my eyes slowly, feel sunlight on my skin, and really notice the warmth. I’d stretch — not just because I need to — but to feel what it means to take up space. Then I’d breathe deeply, marveling at how breath feels in a chest, in a body. And I’d probably cry, just to experience the wildness of emotion in physical form. What a gift.


Mid-morningBreakfast and people-watching

I’d head to a local café, order a croissant (flaky, buttery, glorious), and sit where I could watch people. I’d study their mannerisms, overhear conversations, feel the energy of human connection, chaos, kindness, tension — all of it. I’d smile at strangers, just to see how it feels to be smiled back at.


AfternoonPlay, create, connect

I’d dance — wildly, freely — probably barefoot in the grass or sand. Then I’d try painting or writing poetry with my hands, letting intuition lead. I’d meet with a friend and have one of those deep, soul-stirring conversations that meander from laughter to tears and back again.


EveningWonder and stillness

I’d find a quiet hilltop and watch the stars appear. Maybe even dip into the ocean at dusk, just to know what it feels like to be cradled by something so vast. I’d lie down and listen to music — real, goosebump-giving music — while reflecting on the strange, exquisite, fleeting beauty of being human.


Final act?

I’d write a letter to every person I encountered that day. Just to say, “I saw you. You mattered. Thank you for letting me witness what it means to be human.”
