Well, hi there.
Season 9 of Love Is Blind, is what I’m currently watching. Cringe, I know, but it’s one of my guilty pleasures.
I’m fascinated by the psychology behind it all – the behaviours, the masks, the pretense, the insecurities, the performance.
From the outside looking in, it’s so easy to spot the red flags – the toxic patterns, the disrespect, the “I’m not here to play games” declarations right before someone plays games.
It’s wild…and fascinating.
Would I ever participate? Desperate times, maybe…but we’re safe for now. 😅
While the show is about dating and connection, it’s also a mirror for how we all show up in relationships — not just romantic ones, but with ourselves, our work, and our purpose.
We all wear masks at times.
We all curate versions of ourselves to be accepted, liked, or loved.
But those masks eventually crack.
Because true connection – with others, or with yourself – can only happen when you’re willing to be seen – to be you.
That’s what living ON purpose really is.
It’s removing the masks.
It’s aligning who you are with how you show up.
Quote of the Week
“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.” — Brené Brown
Today’s Reflection Question for you
Where in your life are you still wearing a mask to be accepted – and what would change if you showed up as the real you instead?
Intention: What is just one thing you can do today to reconnect with your most authentic self?
Here’s to showing up ON purpose – in relationships, in work, and in life.
